We adored our 12 day stay at Stravatha. This stunning house and infinity pool are in the most perfect, secluded location, overlooking the hills and sea with awesome sunsets. We explored the island by boat and visited lots of the recommended tavernas nearby, however we always looked forward to returning to the calm of the house and to relax on the terrace with a lovely breeze and swim in the beautiful pool. We really had the most perfect holiday, thank you.

Stravatha is the place to be if you want to have a week of complete relaxation. The stone house is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and the pool is divine! The villa stays cool in hot days and has shaded areas for dining out. The sunsets are stunning! It’s away from the crowds but close to a village, a port for boat trips to the Blue Caves and some lovely restaurants. The hosts are wonderful and gave great recommendations. I can’t wait to go back again, it exceeded all my expectations!

The house is beautiful and in the most stunning location. Spacious, stylish and comfy with a wonderful infinity pool that overlooks the sea and the spectacular sunsets. We ate out at some really lovely restaurants that were easy driving distance. We also went on a boat trip and swam in the crystal clear waters. I totally recommend Stravatha. I can't wait to go back again.

Not sure what I expected but I was stunned by the amazing infinity pool and the beautiful villa. It’s in a traditional stone style not those cement boxes you see dotted around. The house is beautifully furnished very comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. I highly recommend Stravatha Villa. The owners were lovely and gave clear instructions on how to find the house. Go for a week and wish you’d booked for a month, we did!

Perfect week - stunning all round. Stravatha was heaven, comfortable, spacious, everything we needed for a week of rest and relaxation. Couldn’t improve on it. Pool was sublime. Beds dreamy, views awesome. Close (6 mins driving) to a very well equipped village - restaurants, good pharmacy, local curio shop. Book it now - you will thank me.

Stravatha is a beautiful traditional stone house located on a hillside with uninterrupted views of the Ionian Sea ,the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a glass of local wine and watch the amazing sunsets from the terrace or infinity pool a definite highlight of our stay .

The house is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy this little piece of paradise ,if you are looking for peace and a place to recharge Stravatha will be perfect for you .

This was the third time weve stayed in this house and once again we had an amazing time. The addition of the infinity pool has taken the house to the next level. The incredible location remains the same with uninterrupted views to the west looking over rolling hills and the sea with not another sign of human habitation in sight. These are even more spectacular when viewed from the cool comfort of the infinity pool. The house is super comfortable with everything you need and the recent addition of Wi-Fi means you can keep in touch with the outside world (not recommended!). The only downside now is that we were reluctant to leave the house to see the rest of the island. But if you can tear yourself away from the views and the pool there is plenty to do. We loved Agios Nikalaos which has a pretty little beach, crystal clear water and lots of places to eat. Our favourite is La Storia right on the waters edge. Our other favorites are The Old Windmill and Micro Nisi Restaurant but there are plenty more recommendations in the house manual. If you need a bit of exercise you can walk from the house to Volimes which is a 5.4 km round trip. I can recommend the milkshakes in the Elatino Cafe as a reward for your efforts. We will be booking again in 2024. If you want a proper break from the hurly burly of life look no further.

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever had the pleasure of staying. The house is exquisitely beautiful and perfectly designed for airy, romantic, easy, light living. With its high ceilings, the inside stays cool, but is also always full of light. The house is orientated towards the sea - we watched the sun set over the ocean every night. You can't see another building from the house and so you have the kind of view that is almost impossible to find in this modern world - acres of traditional Greek hillside and then wide open sea and horizon. The house is very well equipped with a wonderful open plan kitchen containing everything you could think of. The beds are super comfy and there is plenty of cupboard space, so you can move in and feel right at home. Every is so clean and fresh and decorated in a very tasteful and understated way. The master bedroom has double doors which open onto the elegant terrace and also look out to the sea, so you literally wake up and go to sleep in paradise. The only trouble is that from the moment I arrived I knew I'd never want to leave! And then there is the pool. A gorgeous infinity pool with turquoise water, flanked by ridiculously comfy bean bag sunbeds, all of which make it extremely difficult to leave the house and explore the island, which you really ought to do, as, particularly in the North, it's very unspoilt and charming with plenty of great and inexpensive tavernas, along with some slightly more pricey but really very good restaurants too. The house is situated in the pretty rocky North of the island and there are many little cove beaches to explore close within 15 minutes or so of the house. The owners were lovely - super helpful and communicative and have also created a wonderful guide to the house and the island which we renamed "the bible". Just follow it you'll have a fantastic holiday. There aren't many well stocked food shops in the near vicinity, so do do as the owners say and stock up near the airport or port. I'm trying to think of something negative to say, but I honestly can't. Just go. For as long as you can.
